Deforestation is one of the causes that not only leads to global warming but also poses problem for the wildlife and endangered species of the world as it encroaches upon their natural habitat . Being motivated by our unhealthy greed , human beings often victimise Nature , trying to strangle

her beauty , thereby spreading darkness around us but there are few noble souls , whose acts of kindness are pathways toward light. It's a journey from darkness to light.

Jadav " Molai " Payeng is one such soul whose act of kindness is noteworthy.

As early as a teenager , his passion for the betterment of nature made him start plantation in his birthplace in Assam , India.

From there , the journey continued as he dedicated his life in building an ecosysytem , spanning

1, 360 acres which is now home to a large number of wildlife.

Several decades have passed , but Jadav still promises :

“I will continue to plant until my last breath .”
