There's No Limit To Being Generous # WATWB # Part II

We Are The World Blogfest  is here with its fifth edition .

#WATWB Badge

Accolodes and titles have become embellishments which are necessary for reaching the ladder of success.  Starting from ordinary people to up class entrepreneur every feather added to one's cap is a sign of success , more money followed by more fame . But did anyone receive any prestigious award for being generous  ---- a kind of generosity which goes beyond any fixed norms .

In the last edition , I posted a story which was related to such generous act. This post is also about another such magnanimous demeanour which goes  beyond all words.

This post is about Palam Kalyanasundaram who was declared man-of-the-millenium . Well , the title he had bagged was for his generosity . A 76 year old Palam had started the art of charity from a tender age which continues still now . After an entire day of toil and struggle who has the desire to denate his entire salary , but this  great man through the entire period  of his employment until his retirement donated every penny of his   salary  .

Aren't you mesmerized by this tale of generosity or are you wondering if this could be humanly possible . True , these were similar thoughts that nudged me too .

Does'nt  this story of generosity implies that there's no limit to being generous . I feel so and hope we all join hands in being more generous !!!

  1. To give away one's entire salary is on a different league, altogether, not like the charity we see on page 3 as a public relations exercise. Thanks for sharing this truly wonderful watwb story.
