Friendship knows no bar , no religion , no caste or creed . It's just the commoness of few factors that establish a good friendship . A good friend is always needed  by  everyone at any point of  time in the journey of life .
 This post tells the story of one such friendship which was forged between  82 - year - old - widower  Dan Peterson  and the little girl , Norah Wood .A  shadow of loneliness engulfed Dan  after his wife 's death  which  by the twist of Fate suddenly changed into one of fulfilment when  by chance he met Norah at a grocery store .

Their   friendship  has bloomed and is  maturing in the garden of love . Hope we all reach out to everyone who are in need of  good friends be it the young or old , the rich or poor , the shy or smart and the ugly or beautiful . Whatever may be the scenario , a good friend is always considered to be a precious possession .

    This is a fantastic story! I used to work in geriatric care and helped with an inter-generational program called "Grand Friends" The program involved pairing children from a local school with a senior resident. The friendships that were forged were incredible to the point where some continued long after the program ended. Thank you so much for sharing this and being part of #WATWB :)
