We Are The World Blogfest is here with its 9th edition !
Anyone who chooses to be a doctor has to abide by Hippocratic Oath . this is the oath written by great Greek physician Hippocrates and is considered sacred by physicians around the world . " to treat the ill to the best of one's ability " ... is one of the axioms of this oath . Taken the present scenario in medical history , how many doctors actually comply to this rule and dedicate their life for the treatment of sick and poor ?
But , such instances though unbelievable , still exists in today's world . This edition of the post throws light on one such person . By profession a doctor , Ravindra Kolhe , chose to dedicate his life for the poverty stricken tribes of Melghat instead of amassing huge amount of money through his medical practice .
