Home For The Homeless # WATWB #




We Are The World Blogfest  is here with its  12th  edition !

Food , shelter and  clothing are the basic necessities  of  man .  For  healthy living  , one should have a place called home. But with the overwhelming statistics of world population , there are thousands and thousands who are still homeless. India is said to be one of the fastest  growing economy but still not everyone can boast of having a home .
           Someone, however, with a "heart of gold " thought  of  building  homes  for such downtrodden and underprivileged people in  different parts of Kerela. Today's story  is about the retired zoology professor  whose philanthropy  lies in bulding homes for others.

Do I have the ability to build atleast one home for someone  unknown in this lifetime ... I guess my answer would be quite dubious.

    Hi Sinchita - that's a marvellous project ... by an equally wonderful retired professor ... sounds like he's definitely not retired - just joined another profession - so great to see this ... and Kerala is an area I'd love to visit ... cheers Hilary
