We Are The World Blogfest is here with its 14th edition !

Mother's Day was celebrated with much fanfare in various parts of the world as a sign of gratitude and love for our mother, to whom we bow down with respect for bringing light to our life and leading us through thick and thin in the journey of life . Being a mother , I can truly understand biologically how powerful this bond can be and how much strenght it requires to nurture and nourish the little bundle of joy .
According to psychologist Erich Fromm , " Mother's love is peace. It need not be acquired , it need not be deserved ." As I am the child of a mother and also the mother of a child , have sensed and felt this peace. This kind of feeling is aroused mostly when we are biologically related to someone . But what kind of definition can we adhere to when someone is the mother of hundreds of children , no legacy of bloodline can be attributed here except for the joy of doing good for others and extreme love.
Today's post will share the story of one such '' mother " whose love is unique as she is the mother of not one or two children but hundreds and hundreds of orphans . She is Sindhtai Sapkal who is also called the " Mother of Orphans" .
